When Myami reached out about her senior photos, I was so excited — we’ve worked together on photo shoots before, and I already knew she would bring the most creative, fun energy to her session. I wanted her senior photos to feel just as vibrant and unique as she is: a blend of editorial edge, playful moments, and effortless style.
In this post, you’ll find inspiration for Seattle senior photo poses, outfit ideas, and creative concepts to help guide your own senior photo session. Whether you’re dreaming of something bold, chic, or totally outside the box, these ideas will help you craft a session that feels unforgettable — and totally you.

Myami is one of those people who instantly lights up any room she walks into. She’s spent the past few years working as a model, which shows in how effortlessly she moves in front of the camera — but what really stands out is her energy. She’s the ultimate hype girl for her friends, always bringing encouragement, laughter, and positivity wherever she goes. Working with her is always such a joy, and her senior session was no exception!

For her session, Myami wanted a location that captured the spirit of high school — the memories, the energy, the feeling of cheering in the stands with friends. We decided to shoot at a baseball stadium near her school to bring that nostalgic vibe to life. But of course, we wanted to elevate it beyond the typical “senior at the stadium” photos.
To add a creative, editorial twist, we brought in a backdrop stand and used the space in unexpected ways — mixing classic stadium scenes with more stylized, fashion-forward setups. It was the perfect blend of personal and polished, and felt so true to Myami’s vision.

Fall can be such a gorgeous time to take senior photos in Seattle. There’s a cozy, dreamy feeling in the air that’s hard to beat.
That said, it’s good to remember that Seattle weather in the fall can be a little unpredictable. If having golden, glowy sunset photos is really important to you, summer might be a safer bet. Fall days can be gray and overcast — but honestly, that soft, moody light can be incredibly beautiful too. It’s all about the vibe you want for your session!

For her session, Myami mixed it up with both a more formal outfit and an everyday look — and I absolutely loved that. Showing different sides of yourself during your senior photos is such a good way to capture your full personality and make your gallery feel even more personal.
When it comes to choosing outfits, I always encourage seniors to pick something they can move in comfortably. It’s also smart to think about your location. For example, if you’re shooting on a rocky beach and you’re not comfortable walking in heels, it’s better to skip them — barefoot or sneakers can still look amazing with a dress! The more comfortable you are moving and having fun, the more natural and confident you’ll feel on camera — and that makes all the difference.
