Choosing your wedding photographer is a big decision — you’re inviting someone into some of the most intimate, emotional parts of your wedding. That’s why the consultation call matters so much. It’s the very first step in making sure you feel seen, understood, and excited about the experience we’ll create together.
These calls are truly about one thing: finding the right fit. My goal is to make sure my approach, personality, and creative style align with your vision. And if I ever feel like I’m not the best photographer for what you’re dreaming up, I’ll always tell you — no pressure, no hard feelings. You deserve someone who feels like a perfect match.

A consult call is a quick, low-pressure chance for us to connect and talk through your wedding day. It gives me a feel for your personalities, what you value in your photos, and what kind of energy you want surrounding you. You’ll also get a sense of how I work — from the emotional, editorial way I document moments to the calm presence I bring on a wedding day.
It’s about making sure you’ll get the wedding photos you’ve been dreaming about and that we’re aligned creatively from the very beginning.
I keep these calls to about 15 minutes because couples are busy, and I want to respect your time. But if we’re in a groove or you have more questions, I’m always happy to stay longer.
It’s also helpful to have all the “decision makers” join the call — you, your partner, and anyone else who’s supporting your planning. That way, everyone hears the same information, can ask their own questions, and feels confident moving forward.
You can think of this call as a warm, open space to share your ideas, talk through logistics, and get clarity on what the experience of working together could look like.

Photos aside, your wedding photographer is with you for some of the most intimate, emotional parts of the day. You want someone whose energy feels grounding, kind, and genuinely aligned with yours.
Video calls let you feel that connection quickly. You see how someone communicates, whether they feel calm or high-energy, and if they make you feel instantly comfortable. That “face to face” moment tells you so much more than emails ever could.
My couples often tell me they chose me because the call felt easy — like talking to someone they already knew. That’s what I want for every couple I meet.

Ask anything that helps you feel confident, comfortable, and informed. If you’re not sure where to start, here are a few great options:
These questions help you understand not just the technical side, but the energy, presence, and artistry your photographer brings.

If it feels like a great fit, the next step is simple: I’ll send your custom proposal with all the details to officially secure your date. From there, we move into planning — moodboards, questionnaires, timelines, and everything we need to create editorial, emotional, artful photos you’ll love forever.
Your consult call is the very first step in getting to know each other — and that connection is everything. When we take the time to understand your personalities, what you value, and how you want your wedding to feel, your photos become so much more than images. They become reflections of who you are together.
